FIFA Agent Effendi loses wife

To lose a loved one is never easy to overcome.

But to take a few days in order to share the grief with friends was something our FIFA Agent Effendi Jagan had to endure.

I personally got to know Effendi in 2004 and we last met more then a year ago for lunch where he shared his late wife’s condition medically.

It was a tough tine for him but he diligently stayed by the side of his wife who was his pillar of strength.

It was last Saturday at around 2pm she breathed her last and was laid to rest nearby.

Ever since that day Effendi takes a five minute walk to be at his wife’s grave, saying a prayer and sharing his feelings.

My heart goes out to him and the rest of the family.

Below is what he posted in his Facebook a few hours ago, reproduced with permission.

“ It took me about 4 days to have the strength to inform the passing away of my beloved wife Fadhilah Mustaffa or Dhyll

as I and her close friends call her.

She lost her battle to the Auto -immune

sickness she have been suffering with for the last 2 years. She died in the wee hours of the morning on the 6th of February 2021 ( Saturday )

I would like to take this opportunity to state a brief obituary / eulogy of her well celebrated life.

She was the pillar of strength to me since our marriage and I must thank her for what I am today.

A great wife , a classic loving mother and a caring and trustworthy friend to all.

She will always take the lead in all family functions to ensure all will be fine .

The family will miss that dearly.

The other important character of hers is that she will always put the interest of others than her.

Always ensuring others are happy.

I was shocked to read so many very positive and touching testimonials and statements from her class mates and colleagues from Malaysia Airlines and UITM on FB.

She was a very well liked person at Malaysia Airlines

and I think that is where she enjoyed her career best.

The children are all so dear and close to her. My daughter Anis is her best friend and they do many things together.

She is always proud of our 2 sons Adrian and Danial and always keep track of Danial’s football matches .

The 2 new entries to the family Hilya and Alana ( Grandchildren )are so dear to her that she watches

their videos daily and speak to them on facetime daily.

As I am writing this I can’t stop the tears falling

as I and the family really and dearly miss her. I was focusing and taking care of her health for the last 18 months and it was such a pity to see her struggle the pain.

Now as all has ended and we hope she is

happy and relaxed there with the Almightly.

We will all miss her smile and her bossing

around and especially her kind lending hand to others.

The photographs shared will indicate vividly how

her life was celebrated.

Also I like to take this opportunity to wish

all, relatives , colleagues and friends for the kind wishes , presence during the funeral and contributions

during this grieving moment.
