Azlan Shah Cup. RM2.063 million raised

Though there is still uncertainty on the six team, the sponsors stepped forward to pledge their support for the 28th edition of the Azlan Shah Cup.

With South Africa having withdrawn at the 11th hour, efforts are being made to get a replacement, as China too have declined the invite and a reply is being awaited from Poland.

A total of RM2.063 million in cash was pleaded by a host of sponsors at a ceremony graced by HRH Sultan Nazrin Shah, the Sultan of Perak, OCM Secretary General Dato Nazifuddin Najib and Tournament Advisor Tan Sri P. Alagendra at a leading hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
